Golf Simulator Design & Installation in Glencoe
Golf Sim Chicago can help Glencoe homeowners explore a simulator layout before a screen or launch monitor is selected.
Homes around downtown Glencoe and the Chicago Botanic Garden area vary from older houses to updated, more open plans. The usable interior—not the exterior style—sets the possibilities.
Work with a room’s real proportions
An established Glencoe home might have a lower level with columns or a finished room that needs to retain its everyday purpose. A newer or reworked space may have fewer visible obstructions but still require a careful check of width, depth, and the entire swing arc.
Consider where people will enter and watch, and whether daylight or decorative lighting could affect a projected image. Screen height, projector throw, acoustics, and ball containment should be reviewed as one room plan.

Compare basement and above-grade options
If there is both a basement and a bonus room, note the lowest clear ceiling point in each, stairs or doorways, and any built-ins that must remain. The better candidate is the one that supports the intended golfers and other uses, not necessarily the larger floor area.
Share the Glencoe space you have
Send photos from opposite corners, basic dimensions, and the preferred room function when golf is off. Those details make an initial discussion more useful than a preset equipment list.
Frequently asked questions
Would a bright Glencoe family room need special light planning?
It may. Window placement, daytime use, display choice, and projector position should be considered together before a screen or lighting plan is fixed.
Can a column in a lower level be worked around?
Sometimes a different hitting direction or room arrangement is possible, but column position must be measured against the complete swing and spectator area.
